DQ Officials Workshop

DQ Technical Workshop Information
Date; Saturday February 12th
Venue; Brisbane Aquatic Centre, Chandler and DQ office.
Timeframe; 9am-3pm
9am-11am; Dive recorder &Table competition operation workshop with Toni Toohey & Heidi Graymore in the DQ office.
11am-12; Judges Workshop with Kevin Hall. PowerPoint slide show with quick question and answer revision to be held in the DQ office.
12 – 1pm; Lunch break supplied. Sandwiches and a discussion if required in the DQ office.
1pm-3pm; Hands on operation for all persons in a mock up competition held in the dive pool. All clubs welcome to register 4 competitive divers to compete and gain experience on all levels e.g. Masters, Age 16/18 to 11&U & Juniors all groups
* We strongly advise that all clubs attend and send at least 4 participants to the workshop, MINIMUM 2 Judges and 2 Table persons.
* All judges attending will receive a credit towards their state assessment. This includes a revision and possible upgrade of the judge’s level if appropriate. The Judges exam will be made available to those wishing to complete it. Please advise Kevin Hall prior to workshop. Timeframe is 45mins. (Lunch break advised)
* All table officials attending will be taught and brought up to date with all procedures used in local, State & National competitions.
This will ensure all the DQ competitions will continue to be run in a smooth and professional manner, which will benefit everybody in the association, especially in the lead up to State & National titles.
Please reply for each or any of the categories as noted below to confirm your attendance, by Wednesday the 9th of February in any of the categories of diver; table; and/or judge.
