Diving Queensland is pleased to be offering a Judges workshop to all our members, ranging from beginners to our most experienced.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO ATTEND THIS FREE EVENT

This course is not just for those wanting to start their judging journey, but also experienced judges are encouraged to attended as part of the maintenance criteria necessary to maintain their judging accreditation.

The Judges workshop structure has changed this year:

• ALL NEW JUDGES are asked to attend from 8:00am – 11:00am
• ALL EXPERIENCED JUDGES are asked to attend 11:00am – 1:00pm

NEW JUDGES WILL COVER:

• intro to diving and basic categories

• synchro rules
• armstands
• dive numbers and positions
• faults and summaries of dive components
• Psychology of judging diving
• includes a comprehensive power point presentation

EXPERIENCED JUDGES WILL COVER:

• All new rule changes
• referee duties, procedures.

The judge’s exam will be available for all who need to either update or start their judging pathway.

Complimentary morning tea will be provided between 11:00 – 11:30.
