Celebrate Wear It Purple Day through Diving Australia and our State partner, with a free LGBTQ+ Come & Try diving session.

In celebration of Wear It Purple Day, we're inviting LGBTQ+ participants and their allies to make a splash at our free, fun, and inclusive springboard diving sessions!

Held across QLD, VIC and Tas, these sessions are a safe and supportive space to try something new, meet new people, and celebrate the power of pride, visibility, and community. No experience is needed—just bring your energy and a sense of adventure!

🕑 Time: 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
📍 Location: Sleeman Centre, Brisbane Aquatic Centre, meet next to the Diving Pool

How it works

• Limited spots to keep things safe and manageable
• Supervised board use with one-at-a-time jumps
•  Clear progression—start low, build up if appropriate

Please note:  

• Participants must be confident swimmers in deep water
• Please wear appropriate swimwear/clothing
• Our office correspondence is during business hours, Monday to Friday.
